A definition of elegance
For some of us a sense of style is innate. As little girls we imitate our mothers and if we are lucky enough to have a very stylish woman as mother, then we are winning already!
French women are in an absolute class of their own. We envision them as incredibly pretty, sophisticated and effortlessly elegant. As the young heroine Cécile says of Anne Larsen in Françoise Sagan's novel 'Bonjour Tristesse': "To her I owed my first glimpse of elegance". I simply adore that line! Their intelligence and confident way their carry themselves is what sets them apart. As basic rule: less is always more!
