She is one of the most famous people in the world, with her show broadcasted in 113 countries all over the world, for 24 straight years. Through her Angel Network Oprah has helped people overcome tragedies, empowering themselves and fulfill their dreams. She started as a news reporter at a local news station in Nashville. She quickly got her first talk show in Baltimore which became an overnight success. She moved to Chicago to do a talk show called AM Chicago, an even bigger success. So it was quickly changed into the Oprah Winfrey show, the show we all know and have grown to love.

Oprah has now turned into a media mogul, running her own production company (HARPO) and television network (OWN). So it came as no surprise that after Oprah Winfrey announced she would be quitting the Oprah Winfrey show after her 25^th season in 2011, people started speculating over her next step and predicting it would be in politics.

Apparently they where wrong, Oprah has finally released a statement about what her plans are in 2011; she will host a prime time talk show, called 'Oprah's Next Chapter', in which she will interview people on location. This can be her own back yard, but also for example the Chinese Wall. We are sure this show will be as inspiring, fun and successful as all her previous ventures. We at LaDress can't wait to tune in.
