Linda Evangelista was born in St. Catherine's, Ontario in Canada to Italian parents. She knew she wanted to become a model at the young age of 12 year old. She was discovered by a talent agent at the Teen Niagara beauty pageant and then later she moved to New York where she signed with Elite Model Management. It was them who propelled her to the infamous status she posses today. Even starring in George Michael's music videos.

She confesses to being shy, despite her ability to transform into a fierce model in from of the camera, "No one would ever believe that I was shy. Up on the runway I don't feel that way. When I'm doing my job, nothing can touch me." Over her long stellar career she admits to having learned to live in the moment, something she never used to do.
