On Saturday, June 19th the DON Foundation held a chic dinner party at the magnificent castle Hof van Rameyen in Belgium. DON (Diabetes Onderzoek Nederland) raises funds in support of scientific research to help cure diabetes. Its founder, Maarten de Gruyter, suffers from this condition himself and chose to fight it instead of passively accepting it. The charity event was lovely and DON raised a big sum of money which will, without a doubt, do a lot of good.
