One of my favorite traditions

One of my favorite traditions is to go to Paris with six friends once a year. A weekend full of sumptuous dinners at L'Avenue, Costes and Maxime's, delicious lunches at Les Deux Magots and George outside on the rooftop terrace with spectacular views over Paris, but also a weekend of long walks through the city (to compensate all those calories), even biked through Le Marais and a visit to the wonderful Centre Pompidou. Relaxed, lots of laughter, rested... and of course full of new ideas by this inspiring city!

PS, on the picture I (left) wear Blondie, a silk tunic dress.

Things to do today in...

Thingstodo

...Amsterdam: exhibition of Keke Keukelaar's photographs of writers from Amsterdam and New York. All photographed writers made a special selection of their work in which the city they come from plays a vital role. "New York - Amsterdam: writers portraits"

...New York: Julia & Angus Stone / Josh Mease concert. Both had great debut albums and are back to their roots tonight, playing again in New York. Prepare for soft voices and smooth guitar sounds.

...Sydney: It's the Sydney Film Festival. Get your tickets for tonight quickly, they are selling fast.

...London: the launch of Ultimate Skincare - a luxurious beauty product with a difference - at House of Fraser, Oxford Street, between 1-2pm. Beauty lovers should pop down to the store to pick up their free sample and tips from the UK's skincare expert, the British Association of Dermatologists.

...Paris: Yves Saint Laurent exhibition in Musée de Petit Palais. He is the major figure in the fashion of the second half of the twentieth century. Drawn from the exceptional collection of over 5000 pieces retained by the Fondation Pierre Bergé - Yves Saint Laurent, some 250 garments will be exhibited.
